ELF Studio Europe is an annual recurring academy organised by VVD International in collaboration with the European Liberal Forum (ELF). The idea of ELF Studio Europe has its roots in the concept of Studio VVD, a capacity-building, and think-tank project of the Haya van Somerenstichting. Studio VVD was created with the ambition of the Haya van Somerenstichting to bring together young professionals and political talent to work together and to find solutions to liberal challenges without any hinder of traditional organisation bias.
ELF Studio Europe differs from the other academies of VVD International because it offers a platform to come up with innovative approaches to various problems. The task for the participants of ELF Studio Europe is to find a (practical) solution to combat declining membership numbers and to find innovative ways to motivate existing members to become active ambassadors for their respective parties.
